ADSAT is one of the oldest and leading organization in the manufacture and distribution of TVRO equipment operating in the United Kingdom.
The company started life in North London in 1989 as Advanced Satellite Intenational Limited (ASIL).
ASIL specialized, at the time, in retail of satellite equipment.
In a very short period of time, it commenced worldwide wholesale distribution of satellite equipment and ceased all retail activities.
In 1994, ASIL moved office to Park Royal, (North West) London. At this point it became one of the leading satellite equipement distributors in the world, operating out of UK.
In 2000 and after ASIL had started offering media services in addition to hardware distribution, ASIL was split into 3 companies :
- ADVANCED BROADCAST SERVICES LTD. (ABS), which commenced to develop its playout operation centre, which now supports the needs of more than fifty TV channels from its UK base.
- ADVANCED PRODUCTION SERVICES LTD. (APS), which mostly serves the television production needs of ABS's clients.
- ADSAT INTERNATIONAL LTD. (ADSAT)
ADSAT was formed to deal whith all satellite equipment distribution, worldwide. The performance of this company has been even more dynamic than its sister companies since its incorporation in 2000. Its activities are best gleaned into by perusing the 'client base'.
In 2007, ADSAT became manufacturer after entering a partnership with Famaval SA, the eldest and largest European manufacturer of satellite parabolic antennas.
ADSAT is now a part of a group of companies with registred offices and operations in the UK, Portugal, Brazil and India where a satellite antennas is on it's way.
